" Best pet shop I've ever been in! Were very ocd about what's on our dogs food and treats. Most pet shops stuff is packed with crap so we shop online and it can become expensive. Today we went in for a nosey and left with a load of treats and toys and we're planning on changing him to a better food that this store imports in. It's ridiculously good and my dog just lapped up the sample. also incredibly cheap for the quality. One very happy pup! And customers for life "

" I popped into the Dundee store and got some wonderful advice from Nikki on the perfect food for my 7-month old puppy, who was absolutely spoiled with treats and attention! After trying some of the recommended food and loving it, I bought a small bag of Farmfoods pellets and some meat pouches. Well I'll definitely be going back for the biggest bag I can find because its amazing. Puppy loves it, he's excited about his food again and the pouches add variety. He even smells better! Lovely place with great advice, we will be back soon! :D "

We found that the larger pet stores are more about profit than they are pets, and we have a German Shepherd pup who just wouldn't settle on a food.. then we saw Alan's was opening in Dundee! Not only is it a great shop, these people really care about your pets. All of their food recommendations have been spot on for our Ace, and we go in every week! I was so happy to find a local, family business with 3 German shepherds of their own too, so we have always gotten great advice from people with experience.
